Install new water/sewer lines lay pipe install fire hydrants, valves, tee offsets, vaults, meters, manholes, clean-outs, taps, and force mains. Perform new concrete construction and special projects such as sidewalks, foundations, drying beds, storage bunkers, etc. Repair faulty water/sewer lines, storm drain inlets or pipes, and other causes of concrete failure before concrete is replaced. including demolition, removal, prepare sub-base, install rebar, pour and finish, wreck forms, clean-up and sod if applicable. Make concrete repairs to streets, driveways, curbs, sidewalks, etc. Work on construction projects, usually in utility capacity, by transferring from one task to another where demands require worker with varied experience and ability to work without close supervision. Operate equipment, not limited to dump truck, crew truck, excavator, backhoe, vacuum/jet truck while performing a variety of manual tasks associated with the construction and repair of water distribution and wastewater connection facilities as assigned. Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions. Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
